RCS has been a blessing to my children. The teachers and staff ALL take the time and effort to make their student''s school experience positive and productive. My children are very happy at RCS and so am I. Great job!
I love the vision and direction of the school. My child is thriving. I love how he comes home from school singing the B.I.B.L.E song, talking about how Jesus made him and how he is asking so many good questions. We also love how he's increasing in his vocabulary. The academics are superior and we look forward to when our boys will be playing sports and engaging in the arts at the high school. We plan to be here for many many years. GREAT school!!!
Our children are in 1st and 2nd grade and I am blown away with the scholastic program. I volunteer in the Accelerrated Reading program in both classes and both teachers have ALL students reading at and above grade level and it's only midyear. As a former teacher myself I know how amazing this is. The 1st grade teacher and mentor teacher for lower elementary, has a handful of first graders reading at a 3rd grade level. She has taken readers well below grade level and has brought them at and above grade level and it's only midyear!! This school goes far beyond just teaching the curriculum. They create an enriching system that draws the best out of the students in an incredibly nurturing environment that is rooted and flows from the Christ centered approach to education. I cannot say enough good things about this school. They take the Golden nuggets of opportunities to reinforce Biblical teaching and living all day. What a blessing!!
We have been at Rancho for 6 years and we hope to stay another 7. The staff loves not only teaching but challenging the students ~ both individually and as a class. The atmosphere is second to none: I would attend simply for that. The worship team is awesome and the fine arts department is growing into something wonderful. The sports now include fifth grade, which is awesome for us: my boy got to play on the JV middle basketball team and he is learning much more than simply the sport. Now, do I have some issues with the school, sure ~ it's a school not nirvana. My concerns are addressed respectfully and the conclusions have been agreeable to all involved. Kids will be kids wherever they go and parents will be parents ~ I think you get what you give and being an x-public school teacher I know both sides and I will happily choose this side.
My children went to RCS for five years and moving to public school we have to take a step back..Couldnt belive!I was proud of being in RCS...i guess my reality was blindfolded! The administration is desorganize, has favorites and money talks.Children get away with no discipline. Integrity and Honesty are shallow. As a parent, I try to be positive, but I couldnt continue see the favoritism among teachers and students. Dont waiste your money and choose a Charter school, small class and same or higher education.I am a parent who loves high standars and a great Christian education
My son is in 4th grade at RCS. He as been at RCS since preschool. We, as always are so impressed with the education, but more than that, the Godly influence he gets daily. He loves going to the high school football games. Such a great start for being the first year of football here. We went and watched them play Mater Dei Thursday and we only lost by one touch down. My son can't wait to play football in high school at RCS. The football players are so sweet to the smaller kids. They are so looked up to. I would recommend RCS Preschool through High School highly for a complete experience spiritually, educationally, socially, and in athletics!
This is a great school! The teachers are dedicated and caring, the principals are involved and easily accessible, and the staff is amazing! Not only is my son challenged academically, but he is offered the opportunity to grow spiritually, socially and emotionally in all of the enrichment and extracurricular activities that are offered each semester. This school has been a great experience for our family!
Our family loves Rancho. This has been an awesome year and we have seen a lot of growth in the school. Our new principal is doing great things. Our family plan was for our daughter to attend Rancho for middle school and then go back to public for high school, but she made the decision herself to stay at Rancho because she loves it so much. She is being challenged academically, but more importantly she is strengthening in her relationship with God. The teachers there care about the students and have a personal one-on-one relationship with them. We are blessed to have found this school for our children.
GREAT school. FANTASTIC school year. Thank you Rancho Christian for all you do to love and educate my child. Thank YOU.
My famliy just moved here this past year and we have been extremely happy at RCS. At RCS you are family, you can openly talk with the teachers, enrichment staff and administration at any time. Parents are encouraged to help out in the class room or with any event or function the school may have. I have been very happy with how the school handles itself, it's staff and most importantly the students. I have not at all felt like I am "nickeled and dimed". Yes, the economy is very bad, for some, but not for others, and I feel that RCS has done a great job in understanding that and doing the best job possible balancing that for the people that want to give and the people that just cannot give. There are those of us that don't mind giving money for parties and/or field trips. I know both of the elementary school mentor teachers personally and having done multiple projects this year with both of them and my child in class with one of them I have the greatest respect for them BOTH! I feel both of our children are learning about Christ everyday, and to be great Christians! We are very blessed to be at Rancho Christian and will continue to be there for many years to come.
