We love Crowne Hill! My oldest child went to school in another district before we moved to Temecula. She was behind academically because Crowne Hill has such high standards. The teachers care so much about their students. Each of my childrent have been given exactly what they need academically and emotionally. We are also proud of their extremely high API test scores! We couldn't be happier!
How could anyone complain about Crowne Hill elementary? These kids are given an excellent education and are surrounded by teachers, and staff that make learning fun for them. The PTA and parent involvement is incredible. Did I mention their 910 API score? Crowne Hill Rocks!
I couldn't disagree more with some of these comments about Crowne Hill Elem. The front office staff is great! Administration/staff knows more about the students, then what is believed! The teachers go out and above what is necessary! This school is wonderful! I'm a VERY proud parent of CHES! One needs to work for a school district to fully understand just what is involved in just one day of school! Great job CHES!
We are new to the school and I am not impressed with this school so far. The office staff needs to be replaced. They are not friendly and very unprofessional. The prinicipal is hard to judge, because one day she is friendly and the unfriendly the next. I have two children at this school and neither of my children's teachers have impressed me. One is completely scatter brained and the other one is simply weird. Maybe things will improve next year. It's always difficult when you come-in mid year. So, I'll write another review for the 2008-2009 school year.
I am pleased with this school. My daughter moved to this school form a nearby district and has been exposed to so much more academically. They do tend to teach towards the test however. I also have a niece and a nephew who attend. All the teachers and staff are very helpful and friendly. Pick up/dorp off is organized but a lengthy wait. Overall very pleased.
CHES :Academically the school has excellent teachers, that spend most of there time teaching for test results as so many schools have to do these days for funding, many subjects that are not on the tests are skimmed over. The teachers work hard and do the best they can with the restraints & resources they have. The school has an excellent special ed & RSP staff. CHES has extracurricular activities but most are expensive, this limits the participation of all students. The music program is only available to 5th graders only, and the art program is limited to meet the masters, once a month project. There is no sports sponsored by the school except once a week PE and an occasional special activity. There is a great amount of parent involvement especially by the past PTA. It is only through the PTA involvement that the children get some extra
I am very pleased with this school, moving from another state a few years ago, my children were not up the academic standards of the state of CA, Crown Hill's caring and nuturing staff made my children fell welcomed and safe. My children are now doing very well in all of thier classes. I have a daughter who is severly dyslexic and the IEP program at this school is phenominal. Overall I am very pleased with all of the departments in this school. Job well done!
My experience with Crowne Hill has been negative. If you have a child with special needs, be sure to stay on top because school administrators have very little interest in providing an appropriate education for your child. Spec Ed. parents need to record their meetings and be informed. There are many programs on lines that offer information to enlighten you. I'd like to see more from you Crowne Hill. Having credentials mean nothing if the compassion isn't there. Children are the future.
I have very disappointed with the school. Office staff not very friendly nor confidential with students. Pick up and drop off very frustrating, doesn't go very smooth! Principal not very friendly or sociable with students or parents. No asst. principal to give much needed support to parents or students. This school has tremendous amount of parent support.
Crowne Hill continually raises the bar of Excellence. The staff and teachers truly care about the students and are focused on making it a positive experience. My 1st grader actually asks to go to school on the Weekends! It is truly a wonderful school and the residents in Crowne Hill have wonderful things to report. Parents who have previously had their children in Private Schools have enrolled their children in Crowne Hill without hesitation.
