I'm rather disappointed with Temecula Middle School. The teachers didn't contact me when my student failed to turn in homework for weeks. And my email to the counselors let me know they had too many students and were too busy to help my child. I guess we only matter if we do sports or PTA.
now as a freshman, i can look back and say the three years at TMS were the best of my life time.
Wonderful school, my kids have improved so well. They have always had A's and B's, but once they started here in 7th grade it was always a 4.0. The Principal was wonderful and the students are much cleaner than other schools. They also have many extra classes for record credits. If you where going to change your child's school I would send them here.
going to TMS is so wonderful and is a great learning area. Its a verrry safe enviorment and every good child should go there. :)))))) lovee it
I intend to give Temecula Middle School a 10 because of its extrordinary teachers and the teaching itself as well as fun and interesting extra cirricular activities. Overall, wonderfull.
The district is highly rated -- for California. This school mirrors this. They're highly rated, they do well in testing, but compare TMS education/students to that of an east-coast middle school and we would be sorely behind. The adminstration is only interested in accolades not constructive criticism. Concerns about teachers go unheard, overlooked or teachers are justified/supported in their actions. Counselors similarly don't work to improve, they support the status quo. I would like to see support of parents who ultimately know their children far better than the administration. I'd also like to see more interaction from teachers when students aren't doing well, i.e. direct communication with parents: weekly emails or calls, etc. Students aren't mature enough to handle this on their own. I guess this would mean added responsibilities for the teachers, but it is appreciated.
This is a great school. My daughter has been in this district since kindegarden. TMS has good teachers, good kids at the school in general. I can't say enough about how good all the TVS are they are the best of the best. I just wish that the district paid there teachers more for there SAT scores which are always way above any school in Ca.
