Had to leave school because of my child being bullied. Was in a bad class.Too many parents with "perfect" kids.Very hard to deal with. This school is a parent runned school. If you are principal and you make an unpopular decision, you will be outta there on a rail. Was very sad to leave but things were not getting better.Live and learn.I really hope they will implement a bully no tolerance policy. My child is very happy in her new school even though she works all night so she can catch up with the class. The new school is far more difficult academically. As long as she is happy and loves to go to school. No cliques in her new class.I ask her who she plays with, she says "everybody".Such a relief. Before I would dread every day wondering how she was.Just my 2 cents.Hope it helps.

Being an educator myself, I thuroughly looked into the junior high programs from surrounding schools and found St. Lukes the strongest. This is my child's second year and he is excelling due to the dedicated and highly qualified teachers. He is being well prepared for a college prep high school. If you want easy classes where teachers give As to those who do not earn them, this isn't the school for you. This is a challenging school for dedicated students. parents do not have a say in curriculum, this is mandated by the state and archdiocese standards. Parents, trust your qualified teachers. If you can do a better job- home school your child or get a degree and teach yourself. I am blessed to have found such a wonderful school for my child.

My children both attend St. Luke and we are truly pleased with the school, staff and education. All of our needs and questions have always been met and answered right away, and we have never given any extra time or money to the school. The principal and teachers are more than qualified and give so much of their own time. St. Luke will be around for a very long time!

I am very saddened by the demise of St. Luke School. Money seems to be the most important factor! The children and parents are secondary. Exceptional teachers have been let go and below average teachers remain. The tuition coordinator is a very mean and rude woman that unfortunately the parents are forced to deal with. This school will not properly prepare your child for high school! In all probability, this school will not remain open for very long. Many, many great families have left! There are many other private schools close by that are worth looking into.

St. Luke School is the perfect place to send your child if you are willing to sit back and be quiet. If you want to be involved in any way other than financial, don't send your child to St. Luke's. They will take anyone who is able to write a check and will gladly see you go if you challenge any decision made by the Principal or certain staff members. I took my child out and it was the best thing I could have done!

Like others, I have had to take my children out. The academic scores are falling as tuition increases again. Enrollment has been dropping steadily year after year. Most of the clubs and new activites are run by few dedicated parents. No follow through by principal. Not the kind of environment you would expect from a catholic school. Definitely not worth the tuition.

This is a wonderful school! We have a great principal, Mrs. Erin Barisano, who is very willing to improve the school and be involved with events inside and outside campus. With principals and teacher coming and going, the school was experiencing a difficult time. However, this past year we have had AMAZING teachers arrive and join the staff. Now, we have teachers whom the students will remember all their lives, from Mrs. Janice Demarco to Ms. Denise Valadez. No school could have such a great group of dedicated teachers as St. Luke. The curriculum is challenging, and exceptional students are always recognized. Cummunity invovlement is emphasized here as well as a loving Christian attitude. I see the school as a family, working together to help each other and bring forth the best Catholic in everyone. My child will be graduating this year, but we promise to return to this fantastic school!

I currently have 2 children at St. Luke. Previousley, I searched all of Sonoma County for the best schools. St. Luke has proven to be the best school around. The teachers are very well educated and care tremendously about your childs welfare and education. After graduating, kids are prepared mentally and scholastically to enter any high school.
