TRUS has tremendous potential. The school is nestled in a community which has many amazing talents to offer. The staff are dedicated to the unique experience provided by this very different school. To this add some tangible community support and a fresh vision for the schools future and look out!

This school is great. The staff does a great job and as a parent there are many opportunities to be as involved as you want to be. My son has been attending the school for 5 years and loves to go to school. The thing special about this school is that it is in a small town. There is more of a community feeling in the events and the education for the children. As opposed to being in a city with lets say 5 to 20 schools. It is truly a special place for these kids to learn and grow. You cannot please everyone but I personnally can not see a reason any parent would not be proud to have there child attend this school.

Parental involvement is appreciated and welcome. Due to the small nature of the school, the staff knows all of the childrens' names. The concerns of the children come first at this school.

The erollment at 3Rivers has gone way down. Currently we finsihed the school year with about 170 or less students. Many locals have opt to home schooling because they are not happy with the way this school is run. Others have transferred their children to other elementary schools outside this district. If you're accepting and not question any policy and procedures at this school, then your child will do well. If you question anything, you are labeled 'troublemaker.' Tradition is the mode of operanda. The dicipline at this school is nonexistant even though there is a written policy. It is not enforced. The dress code is worse. The same kids come wearing their low cut skirts/pants even for school performances, and nothing is done. They are still allowed to perform. The teachers are it's greatest assets but they still need good leadership/support so the children benefit directly.
