Tomales Elementary School is a wonderful place to send our children. The teachers work as a team with a common goal which is to help the children excell at their highest potential. It has a family atmosphere from parent to teachers.

My husband and I are impressed with this small country town school, The geniune care and concern for our childs education is evident in the principal, all the way down to the music teacher. We enjoy the fact the children are getting music lessons, science, and interesting field trips. We appreciate the Openess of the teachers when it comes to concerns of our child work and personal growth while at school. I would recommend this school to all Military families that move to the area. Michael and Rhonda Watkins

Generally, I have been happy with the caring nature of the teachers and the various creative supplemental activities. I often feel that my child is not challenged enough (he's bright, but easily distracted). Past teachers have chosen to send my child to the office frequently and I was never informed.

A Gem. I found this school when we relocated from Florida last summer. Everyone from the Superintendant on down wanted to sell us on enrolling our children here. They are a small town school where each student is evaluated and educated based on their needs. My children get to go on the most interesting field trips and classwork is always challenging and interesting. My kids can't wait to get up and go to school. The difference in attitude from the teaches and staff is contagious. The students all seemed charged up and enjoying life. The playground is always busy early in the morning and the students are helpful and courteous. They tend to act like a big family rather than a school. The PTA is fully engaged. The students are getting a quality education. My 8th grader is doing trigenometry, my 6th grader is enjoying literature I didn't see until highschool.
