Good school when it comes to student outcomes but has a real problem with aggressive parents. My kids like the school and like the religious elements but I don't care for the 39+ class size.

Being a public school educator and a mother of a St. James' student, I can attest to the school's rigorous academic and religious curriculum. My daughter's love for school, acquired knowledge, self-confidence, global awareness, kind heart, and excellent study habits in addition to the caring staff and strong leader, have contributed to the great person she's growing into. I feel blessed to have found the perfect school for my daughter.

I am a former student of SJS. My son is now a student at SJS. This school has always had a high standard of education, morals and respect. Children are not being taught in the homes to respect one another. The principal and teachers at this school will not tolerate any disprespectful behavior. They truely do prepare these children for the world. I am so lucky to have my child at this school

St. James has excellent shcolastic programs and interactive programs that involve the families of their students. They work hard to raise money for the school, year round, to provide the best education and activities for their students.

Something has changed in the last two years. The Principal no longer cares for the students as she once did, but appears to more concern about her image. The teachers are afraid to say anything openly regarding the principal. The parents involvement had been fantastic till the last few years, but now most are just trying to finished the last few years or have started to move to other schools. We cannot recommend SJS any longer. The politics was always a little much but now it s has risen to a level that has divided the school. We re happy to have this be our last year and will move on.

I would not recommend SJS to anyone who has the option of sending their children elsewhere.

My child has been a student at SJS for 6 years. It has proven to be one of the best experiences she has ever had. We moved out of state briefly to a state known for having some of the best public education in the US. My child was academically above and beyond the students in her class. The social behavior at SJS is the best I have ever seen in a school setting. The staff and students show a genuine respect for each other. The parent involvement is fantastic. I recommend SJS to any parent considering a Catholic eduction for their child.

I never worry about dropping off my daughter for school or after school care. The Principal work miracles with these young kids, instilling hardworking and loving kindness in our kids. My daughter loves going to school because all the teachers fosters a warm and nurturing environment. We are so blessed to have such an outstanding school to teach our children become warm, hardworking adults.

This school is so awsome! The small community of people are very loving and very family oriented. I would recommend this school all athe way. My child comes home so happy and excited to go to school. Very good principal, great families and because this school has one class per grade, they get all the attention they need.
