My kids started attending this year 1st and 3rd. I am very pleased with the curriculum and the values they are being taught. I am really glad we made the move from Montessori.

I love this school. It is sometimes hard but that is for my own good and future. Some of the teachers are much stricter than others but they all treat you with respect and care. You also don't necessarily have to be Catholic to go to St.Bernard's as well. I highly recommend St. Bernard's School to any child and/or parent because each student will have fun learning and also leave a footprint for others.

I love this school. My child has ben here since he started school and he will be graduating this year. The academics are great and I can see the respect that my son has for others because of what he has been taught at this school. He is safe, there are great families here and the teachers really care about the kids. I highly recommend it.

I have had two children graduate from St Bernards School and two who currently attend. My older children attended public school until 6th and 7th grade and let me tell you that there is no comparison as to what my children are learning now at St Bernards it is outstanding in all areas and I work for the public schools. It is also a very safe environment.

You would think being a catholic school, the school would practise what it is supposed to be preaching. If your child has special needs, this is not the school. The school has limited resource. Meeting parents whose kids used to go in this school, they share the same frustration. Instead of helping the kids, rest assured that the principal will do his best to push your kid out of the school. He cares less about your kids but cares more about his fund raising needs. The kindergarten and Grade 1 teachers are great though but from grade 2 and up, I am not too sure about them.

A few of the teachers here are pretty good, but another few are very poor at the job given to them, as I can see. The way things are running in the middle school part (the school is K-8) are constantly changing, and being in middle school, it is very hard to get used to.

The school seems to be so set on achieving standards that it doesn't focus on the arts and other activities that would enhance the students. Even though we've tried to revive our music program, there seems to be little support from the teachers and staff. The school doesn't give room for much growth outside of the academics. If the teachers and staff supported more of the arts (music, drama, visual arts, etc) then it might just be well rounded enough of a school. Compared to local public schools, St. Bernard's doesn't even come close to what those schools have to offer.

I have two daughters that attend this school and they look forward to going. I feel that my children are very safe there and with teachers who really care.
