Overall academics are good, with the exception of one or two grades. Sports and other extracurricular activities are minimal. Parent invovlement is low, however, welcomed! The school is well rounded now that there is a principal that is striving for the best of the children-academically, socially, and physically. Good staff, great atmosphere, but lacks in preparing kids for high school.
The goal of increasing student population vs. raising academic quality has taken top priority. To rate, a low 2 out of 10, in academic ranking is unacceptable. The school's size in comparison to schools in the region has a lower student to teacher ratio. But the low results, begs to question the methodology, training and pride the faculty has in its obligation to these students.
