I love this school so much! After pulling my child out of a public middle school, my child has grown here in amazing ways. The staff, teachers and parents have all been so very welcoming and warm. The academics are challenging and there is absolutely no tolerance for any bullying. The children learn here but they also have fun activities as well. I had bought the hype that private schools were not up to par with LAUSD but now seeing it first hand how much more ahead the children at this school are. If you are thinking of going private this is the school for you the principal is amazing and so very helpful. My child is so happy to be here.

Excellent school! Teachers and parents are friendly and welcoming to new families. My son entered this school in the 6th grade and we are very pleased overall. If you are a parent considering private school for your child, be sure to check out OLL.

My son attends the preschool at Our Lady of Lourdes, called Rose Cottage Preschool. From the moment I stepped in the door, you feel so welcome and at ease. The director, Ms. Lois Higgins, and all of the teachers are absolutely fantastic! My son loves the preschool and has flourished immensely there. It is wonderful to be a part of the Our Lady of Lourdes school and community. We love it and would highly recommended the preschool and school.

I am an alumnus of this school. When I married and our first child was entering kindergarten, we checked out OLL (of course). I found that the school had surpassed my expectations, and my wife loved it as well. We are extremely pleased with the academics, and the values education our son is receiving from OLL.

For the pastor and principal's birthdays this year, the students made prayer chains and wrote a prayer that they would say for these two administrators. They didn't just make a Happy Birthday card but went a step further. That's the kind of thing that sets OLL apart from other schools, even other Catholic schools in the area.

OLL is an outstanding school! Four of my children graduated from there and were successful in a Catholic high school and Cal State Universities. They have character, values, God and can spell and speak correctly. It is well worth the sacrifice of a tight budget for the education and love children receive at OLL in Tujunga.

Wonderful school, The teachers really truly care about students. The Catholic principles to care about your fellow man and the world God has loaned to us, is the guide for everyone to follow. The school is getting better every year.

Excellent school. Rigorous academic program, safety, discipline, and community involvement. Very good teachers who truly care about children learning. Despite the testing insanity possessing this country, the leadership at this school has not lost focus on what matters the most...children developing into healthy, educated and happy human beings. They also have extensive gardens where children learn about nature, health, nutrition, and to take resposibility for sound ecologial stewardship. Not many schools today can compare.

I am a single parent and don't have the time I'd like to teach my children academically, spiritually and socially. I rely heavily on all the wonderful staff at OLL to teach morals, ethics, and education to my kids. I am very impressed with the level of academics that are taught there, as I know that my children are receiving the best education possible, with the best role models! Even the women in the office are teachers of manners, respect, and integrity. Great job!

Great, Fantastic, Wonderful and Spiritual School.Myself, my two sons, my sisters, and my niece all attended this great school. Our foundation today comes from the learning and spiritual teachings that were taught to us. The school has a family surrounding with the principal, teachers and many parents that constantly stay involved with all our kids. I hope one day that my grand kids will attend Our Lady of Lourdes. Yes, I am a very proud Alumni of this school. Keep up the good work!

All of my children will attend this school! The staff is inspirational, the learning assignments are fun, creative and educational; the parents are always kept 'in the know' about their child's progress. One's education is imperative and irreplaceable, I believe this school will give my children a great start towards a successful, well-balanced life. All said, this school is a tiny little gift to me and my children.

Our three children attended O.L.L. in Tujunga for eight years. We thank God every day for the teachers and staff for their dedication, professionalism and love that they live and exemplify for their students. O.L.L. supports the parents in teaching God's love for oneself and others, respect, dignity and honor. Our children are caring, sensitive human beings as well as intellectual. The love of learning drives them through their lives today. O.L.L. challenges their students to focus on learning in a caring environment. Teachers are always available for extra help after school well into their own time. Our children were able to participate in musicals, variety shows, compete in Academic Decathlons,After school sports, Choir, and various academic contests. O.L.L. taught our children to work hard and that putting forth your best effort is rewarding. Our children are success stories in college and the work place. God bless O.L.L.

My daughter has been going to this school since Kindergarten. We were always pleased with it up until this year. The homework assigned is excessive. My daughter has always been a good student, but is being overwhelmed with sometimes up to 7 hours spent doing homework after 7 hours at school and half the time she doesn't even understand what she's supposed to do on her homework or how to do it. Whenever I go to pick up my daughter the children are extremely rowdy, yelling and screaming. The teachers don't seem to be able to control them very well. This is not what I want or expect from a school that I have to pay for my daughter to attend, she will not be attending next year.

Wonderful place for a child to learn. The environment is motivating. The patience that staff shows is inspiring. The offer of assistance in any area is inviting and makes you feel like you belong. Putting our child here was the best thing we could have done. The school inspires and builds confidence. They are willing to work with the children at various levels to bring them up to speed. It feels like they have the philosophy that no one stays behind. We wish we had done it earlier.
