My child is in fifth grade at Cunningham School, and is in the second year of the GATE program. The teachers for this program are very enthusiastic, and vested in the program. The principal and vice principal are also very visible, and involved in a tangible way on the campus. At last year's county science fair, there were more projects that received exemplarary honors than the more established GATE program at another Turlock school, and the magnet math/science school in town. Though it is one of the overall lower income schools in the district, the teachers are excellent, and the students are respectful.
