They do a very good job of watching out over the children, making sure they are safe and displaying the behavior that shows by example, how to treat others.

My two older children attended Yokayo from K-6th grades. The quality of the teachers is exceptional. My husband and I were both very involved and the school appreciated parental involvement. As the children get older, fourth grade and above, we were still involved, not in the classroom like we were when they were younger, but through the PTA. That is the best way for parents to stay involved. The PTA does many things for the kids and school. Yokayo school is by far , the best school in Ukiah, and has the best teachers any child will love. Thanks Yokayo!

My son attened Kindergarden and was reading by years end! There wasn't much in the way of estracurricular activities affered through the school however parental involvement wasn't discouraged though it wasn't emphasized.

I have a child in second grade at Yokayo Elementary School. I am very pleased with this school. The teachers are careing and knowledgable, and the school's literature based reading program is excellent. My son is learning and enjoying the experience.

My oldest daughter attended K-6th grade here. I enjoyed most of her teachers. As with any school there are things you like and things you don't. She is ninth grade now, so I don't know what programs are offered there now. Yokayo is the best Elementary school in Ukiah. My brother and I both attended Yokayo. We all still have fond memories of the teachers and school experience.
