Mulholland is a great school. My daughter was accepted to the new Robotics class that meets during Homeroom. She says that she want to make study robots in college and get a job making robots. Homeroom is longer so all the kids can get breakfast before they go to their first class instead of at nutrition. She likes breakfast at home, but this gives her extra time to program her robot.

Today at nutrition my daughter texted me "mom come pick me up some dumb boy threw me a chili bag and dirtied my sweater and hair" she even threw up.I asked if it was an axcident but she said it wasnt because he was going to throw it at another girl but threw it at her.Worst school ever, they need to pay more attention to there students!

William Mulholland Middle School is amazing. The Police Academy that the school has, is very good! I learned so much that high school feels like a piece of cake. I have so much love for the teachers and the school as well. There is no tolerance for bullying/cyber bullying, fighting or smoking, etc which is excellent. The school is very clean and a beautiful school that has unbelievably INCREDIBLE teachers. The Police Academy, has many advantages towards their magnet. P.A. (Police Academy) has taught me how to have respect for one another and how to be mature and not to fool around which is marvelous. I've grown so much in their magnet program that I'm so glad to call them my 2nd family! You will be happy that you've put your child at this greatly amazing school. I'm so happy that I got the chance to experience such a well educated school. I am so proud to be part of the "family"! This school has teachers that care about their students which is fantastic!

I was able to chat with the principal last week. My son did well at Mulholland last year and he want to keep his drumming class. He also wants to make model cars, which I think uses math. The principal arranged for my son to get this extra elective.

Fathers can be bullies too. I thought my daughter would be safe in that school. the principal did not know anything about the students in his school. too much bulling. children seem depressed.

Terrible school. Too much bullying and the teachers yell too much.I sent my daughter to this school for 8th grade because the charter school she was previously attending moved to a different campus too far away from my home. Little did I know what I was getting her into. Big mistake. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

I have been around many schools but this one is terrible. The staff ignores ALL bad behavior and the principal talks alot but says nothing of value. This school needs to get rid of everyone and start over.

I'm so proud of my daughter's school because I can participate in every activity. The most important thing is because my opinion counts. I am the vice-president of the School Site Council and I participate in the Discipline and Safety Committee as well as the Leadership committee. I am an active parent and I invite you to come and be part of this school.

I am sorry to hear about any problem you are having at Mulholland. Please go an talk to the principal, he wants to know anything bothering a student at the school. I have found him to be very helpful in responding to any issues a student may have with another student, teacher or any other school personnel.

Thiss school is one of the best because it lets kids enjoy going to school and i am only 13 and i like going to this school. My favorite program is SAS because it is more challenging so you don't get bored in other groups like PA. Mulholland Middle school rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to this school for 2 years and I have to say that it was great. The teachers (at least some of them) really, really care about the students. The principal is very dedicated to the school. I think the whole houses idea was great, because you could really be in a class where you were all at the same speed and no one lagged behind. In the last post, the parent sounds kind of grumpy about the music program, but your kid really needs extra time to get a good grade in those classes. All the grades are based on practicing at least one hour a week and if you take the next class level it's about two hours a week. There are fights at the school, but there aren't any more fighs then any other school. this school rocks!

My son went here for middle school. The principal is very dedicated. The Police Academy has great teachers. He is well prepared for a challenging charter high school. Some teachers are good about getting back to parents about questions, but a couple of the teachers are not good about it. All teachers should be required to respond to parent questions within 24 hours. All teachers, not just some teachers, should have web pages with homework posted daily. Also, the Police Academy should be more flexible with scheduling so that students do not have to miss out on the wonderful music program taught by Ms. Hall.

Mulholland was a great school. Teachers were great and it was easy to meet friendly people. Being split into four seperate schools lets students work with other students who are at the same academic level. If you are enrolled in the School for Advanced Studies (S.A.S.),you will experience much more challenging work thta helps you for the future. The teachers ( at least in S.A.S.) are very concerned about your grades and want to make sure you graduate. The principal and administrative staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, they are not very good at getting back to parent questions. If your looking for a great middle school in So Cal, Mulholland is the place to be!

The front office is very organized and the principal is very attentive when available but I had 2 of my children attend this school and was extremely disappointed with most of the staff and ended up taking my second child out of that school and placing her elsewhere. When I had an issue or a concern no one could be reached, would return my phone call or take responsibility for their actions. The security outside the school is close no none and when there is someone they have really no clue as to what is going on as I myself have witnessed a couple of fights amongst kids and they managed to get away. No thumbs up for this school!

i attended in mulholland for about 2 years. and i have to say, it is an excellent school. and if anyone was to ask me whether it is a good school or not? hands down, i would say that it is, in fact, a good school. it is a school that has an excllent administration that maintains overall, average conduct. it is divided into seperate houses: Humanities, School For Advanced Studies, Com-Tech, Police Academy. Each house is unique from the other in which it also allows the student placed in it to flourish academically at a comfortable level and pace for him or her. that is a very important thing for a student who is beginning his or her steps towards high school and beyond. based from my personal experience as a student at mulholland for 2 years, I would definitely say that it is an excellent

This school is a very good school. All the teachers are very nice and try to help the students in any way they can. The students have to wear a uniform which helps control how all the students dress. It has many kinds of progams specified for different kinds of students. They have a excellent music programs which the students enjoy.
