my 3 children went here last year for K,1 & 3 this was a brand new school opened 2010 to alleviate population for 4schools & we fell in its boundary. my K & 3rd grader had a good year but my 1st grader didnt. Ms Geffner was a horrible teacher & pretty much ruined school for my child on day 1 & continued to give her a horrible experience throughout the year. I & other parents went to the principal with concerns & truly felt that she couldnt have cared less & I got the feeling she saw me as some clueless woman she had no time for. I tried to switch my child's class but couldn't since she was the only english only teacher for 1st grade, I tried moving her to a diffrent school but couldn't because of school boundaries. everytime I had to speak to the principal I left message after message for weeks - it once took her 3 weeks to get back to me! for fear of my then Kindergartner to get this woman as a 1st grade teacher I pulled my children out of there & open enrolled them into a school close to my job for this school year. if you are planning on having kids in this school do not let them anywhere near Ms Geffner! all the other teachers are wonderful & I have no complaints on.
