My two older daughters attend Crestwood and I could not be any more satisfied. Yes there is a lot of homework at times but my girls score in the 90th percentile when it comes test time. Mrs. Rolden and Mrs. DiMeo are great teachers. They are hands on and make an effort to teach in multiple learning styles. I am confident that when my younger two kids go to Crestwood they will also have great experiences and teachers.
My children attended Crestwood. I was very pleased with the teachers and my childrens education while they attended.
Great school. As with all schools, there are a couple teachers who lower the score, but if these teachers are able to be avoided, this is a great overall school. The principal is very hands on. All administrative staff are very helpful and easily approachable. The quality of education is awesome. Really could not ask for a better school.
Great school. I have 4 children who attend(ed) this school in both general and special ed. Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Leon are both very hands on with the children. The special ed teacher Mrs. Polk is absolutely wonderful. She treated the kids as if they were hers.
Our Kindergartener had nearly 2 hours of homework each night, much more that she has as a 1st grader, now at a different school. The teacher was a concerned and attentive instructor. The principal was also active in the school. Test scores were not so good.
This shool is not challenging enough.
My son was transferred to Crestwood from Hurley after we moved. We had hoped to keep him at Hurley and were worried about whether Crestwood would be able to meet his academic needs. I was pleasantly surprised with the attention he received from his first and second grade teachers and from the principal herself. Mrs. Malone determined immediately what our son needed and took the initiative to make it happen for him. Mrs. Aksland was very receptive to her suggestions and Ms. McKell has continued to provide an outstanding learning environment tailored to our son s needs. They all went to great lengths to find a way to accommodate him and involved us in the process from the beginning. I have been very pleased with the extraordinary performance of Crestwood's teachers and its principal.
