Overral, Walnut Creek Intermediate is a good school. There are many after school sports programs avaliable. Tenis, golf, track,and soccer are all coed. While in volleyball and basketball males and females are on different teams. This school has a big GYM, but it does not have a pool. The level of parent envolvement is probably high, they help the school a lot. There is also an activity called PRIDE in this school. Every Wednesday students' 6th period teachers talk to students about being better citizens. Most teachers are liked by students and have good teaching skills.

Great variety of teachers - many who are quite dedicated. Quality of the academic programs is acceptable - you get what you put in. Not a great variety of extracurricular activities - that my son was interested in at least. While I was not personally involved in the school, I knew many parents who were.
