Its great to read all the positive comments at the same time trashing other schools and teachers when most likely you have never spent a sufficient amount of time on any campus to know that issues exist everywhere and just because yours isnt public doesnt void you of poor behavior or foul language - Just to show that Berean is not soo "perfect" - ask about what happened to one of their lacrosse players by other members from the same team - its disgusting and I hope the victims family presses charges....who's raising these kids? Exactly.

Don't let your son or daughter attend this school . . . If you think you can just drop your kid off like a public shcool and have teachers and faculty raise, train, and teach your children. It all starts in the HOME ! Here's a test for you: park in the lot after school and listen to the Berean students talk. Now go to Northgate or Clayton and sit in the lot and listen to those students. Berean is worth every penny !

This is a wonderful school that cares about it's students. I recently attended the Berean History Fair that my grandson participated in and was extremely impressed with the projects of all the students. Yes the kids have a lot of homework but it pays off as I observed at this event!

I am surprised at the vitriol of the comments. The administration is actively involved, and the teachers very willing to spend extra time. Kids will be kids. We have found public schools kids to be harsh. It is the age. Homework, welcome to the real world. I think the comments are typical from coddling parents who would never be satisfied having to spend a dime, much less time on their kids. Great school, we take our kids from Lafayette to Berean. Sports teach character, not 'winning or losing.'

school policies and rules are uniform regardless of your personal situation. Little grace and strong legalism when it suits them. No interest if a crime is committed against your child. Many devoted teachers, but some harshness from faculty counteracts that loving feeling.

Save your money....your child will be a number here, in spite of the small size of the school. The administration talks a good game about caring for your child, but when it comes down to it they care about themselves and their own job security. We regret wasting our money on this school....thousands upon thousands of dollars...wasted.

The school gives an inordinate amount of homework. It is a difficult place if your child does not fit in. Somewhat legalistic in approach,

Too much homework without much guidance. If a student is struggling there is no communication from the teacher or counselors untill very late in the grading period-if even then. A disappointment for the fees and for it being a small school that prides itself on students above average achievements.

This school not only piles way too much work on students, the other students are very cruel if you are not in their circle of friends. I would not recommend sending your son here. Save your money and go elsewhere!

the teadhers lose many papers which caused one of my children to not be elgible for basketball, they pile wayy to much homework and expect way way to much out of these kids. it is high school but the things they make them do and how much they give them is unreasonable.
