The teachers and staff are excellent! My son has learned alot.He will be prepared for academic and life success. I enjoy being a room parent volunteer and serving the community club. My child is getting a private school education in publilc school. The skills he is learning will be with him for the rest of his life. Bravo, Walnut Elementary!
I feel that Walnut Elementary is a terrific school. I have had small issues arise, but these issues are always resolved in a very professional and kind manner and I really appreciate that! My boys are happy here and they seem to be interested in what they are learning and I feel that it is the excellent staff and teacher's that makes that difference in their lives. Extracurricular activities would be a plus for this school. But overall, great job Walnut El!!
This school by far has shown the most interest in every one of the students. Whether it be the high or low, the entire staff continues to look for ways to help them succeed. The students have been taught to care and be understanding to all whether they are different or the same as everyone else. It is by far, the best elementary that I have seen. I am sure it comes from the staff that also cares about each other as much as they do the students and parents. It is A+.
I have 2 children who attend this school, and I will say that the teachers have been awesome! Teachers at this school (most of the ones we have had) go the extra mile for their students and really connect with the children. The office staff and the primcipal howere leave alot to be desired. I feel the prinicapl & office do not value parental input or parent volunteers. The school lacks in extracurricular activities. The community club is a poorly run club that does not focus on the children- only on a select group of bossy moms.I still rated the school highly because the teachers are excellent and they matter the most!
This school offers high parent involvement, a great support network for the kids, and wonderful teachers. My children are happy and challenged at Walnut El, and the staff is warm, encouraging, and attentive.
Overall, a decent school. The teachers and staff seem to work hard to make things work, and there is a good amount of parent involvement.
The caliber of teachers and administration is impressive. Quality education is this school's main goal. Children are well taught and respected. It is a joy to be a parent volunteer in my child's classroom and to serve in the community club.
I could not have asked for a better school for my children. I am so happy to see Mrs. Stingly outside every morning to greet each child with a smile and hug. It makes me feel very comfortable that my daughter is in a place that truly cares for their students. I love that there are so many differnet cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, it will really prepare my children for the future. Thanks Walnut El!
The teachers and staff at Walnut El are dedicated and a wonderful influence for the children. Ethnic diversity at the school is high and it's great for the kids.
