this school is great and the teachers are so nice
St. John's school is lacking in a lot of areas the majority of the staff is overworked and the principal is heavily into punishment and doesn't have the students best interest at heart. The best part is the smaller class size, but even with that sometimes the academics are still lacking.
St. John School is a true blessing in our community. The school foster's the teachings of the Church along with strong academics aligned with the standards of California. There are many extra-curricular activities for students to participate in, and what is the best is the student-to-teacher ratio. All of our children go to this school. It is a great preparatory school for Garces High School in Bakersfield, which is the only Catholic High School in Kern County.
