Good school. Nice principal, teachers and staffs .Nice and friendly neighborhood as well. My daughter likes it here.
I have 3 girls but my youngest one had such a hard time adopting to kindergarden schedule. She had gone to 2 different school and i was very dissappointed because for a 5 yrs old girl the principals and stuff of the other school is very impatient with her. From Sept. - Jan. she's been with 2 elem. school and home schooled. I spoke with then Principal Mrs. Gibbs and she told me to bring her into Capistrano, all the Stuff were very caring, patient and understanding with my daughters' anxiety and made her feel secure and and welcome. Now she's in third grade and She absolutely LOVE this school. Thanks to the STUFF.
This is a good, safe school. They are hitting all the marks it educational achivements. I am very happy with all of the staff.
My daughters have had a great time of learning and participating in school activities. We are grateful for the leadership of Mrs. Gibbs and the 3 teachers that so far have been with our kids. Thank you Mrs. Lazaro, Mrs. Ali and Mrs. Case. Also, one of the best looking schools around! Mrs. Najar
I daughter had Miss. Ahn last year and she speaks so highly of her teacher. It seems as if Miss. Ahn has such a passion in teaching and she is so great at it! My daughter is looking forward to going into fourth grade just so that she can be in Miss. Ahn's class again. We will have to keep our fingers crossed.
The teachers my children have had have been great. The principal and staff have worked hard to improve our school. Congtats to them for helping our students achieve over 800! We love our school.
My daughter attends Capistrano in the Special Ed program. Her teacher is Mrs. Spaccerrelli, who I think is one of the amazing teachers. Mrs. Spaccerrelli is a teacher who cares about her students and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Mrs. Spaccerrelli has helped my daughter meet a few of her goals and will continue to make sure she thrieves in her educational endeavor. My hat is off to Mrs. S. She is awesome and I will also remember her thoughtfulness and kindness she has expressed towards my daughter. She is a great mentor and teacher. She's got my vote!
The academic programs are great I don't think that there have been enough extracurricular activities in the past. I didn't see enough parent involvement
My child was there for 3rd and 4th grade. 3rd grade teacher was really good, 4th grade not so good. 5th grade teacher I am told is excellent. School is in reasonable condition. Staff are helpful.
The API for this school has been below average for way too long. Only growing by 13 in one year. Something must be done. As a parent I am not happy about this. The teacher's credentials are also bellow state average which comes into question as to the ability of this school's progress. I as a parent with a child that attends this school, these issues must be met and they have not. The staff and teachers are friendly and seem qualified, most of the kids seem pretty happy. The teachers I have met are so-so. The yonger teachers seem more inclined about 'caring'. The older teachers seem fed up with the high number of lazy unenvolved parents and the school systems' new reading program. The school programs are very limited. It's like this school is trying to improve but for some reason has not or cannot met the API goal off 800.
