The teachers at Welby Way really take pride and interest in my daughters education. I feel that this school is the best elementary school in the valley.

Welby way is one of the top L.A. public schools - probably better than most private schools. It truly is a gem. The parents and community put in so much extra to make it an amazing learning experience.

I have had children in this school over the past 15 years. Administrators care deeply about every child and encourage an atmosphere of challenging and diverse educational experience. Students/families and administrators share a wonderful sense of community through emphasis on education, arts programs and strong ethical standards.

I have been associated with this school through my grandchildren and daughter for many years and find it to be the finest. The staff is completely dedicated and caring and their main concern is their students. They are know to work many extra hours for the benefit of the students.

My daughter is new to the school this year and she just loves it. I can see that there is truly a sense of partnership in Welby Way. Our principal Jennifer, all the teachers and staff care about the school and the welfare of the students, from special needs to gifted. The Parents of Welby Way, do just as much if not more to get the teachers and staff what they need that unfortunately LAUSD has cut. Even through these difficult times of budget cuts, Welby Way struggles but continues to be the best and has one of the top scores in the district and this is achieved only from very dedicated teachers, staff and parents! I am so grateful that my daughter is in Welby Way.

Both my children went to Welby Way from K-5th Grade and EVERY single teacher had the most amazing influence on them (AND me!). They care about EVERY child, they LOVE what they do and not only did they teach my children how to read and write, they helped to teach them how to be great human beings and helped to prepare them for the rest of their lives!

My daughter has been at Welby Way for the past 4 years. My older daughters went to great elementary schools as well, but the sense of community at this school is incredible. The parents and teachers really give their best to make our children experience many wonderful events and learning opportunities. The teachers & staff are extremely dedicated to the success of each student. Welby Way is a fun place to be!

Welby Way not only has dedicated teachers and staff. It has a great community and wonderful parent volunteers that bring a sense of family to our school. We have wonderful programs that give our children the opportunity to learn and experience.
