so perfect to my daughter, clubs and fun, I love this school ! It's really active and spirited !
La Quinta High School is a great place to learn! The teacers are helpful, the students are wonderfully behaved and there are little to no vandalism/drug/bullying/sexual harassment/gang/violence issues. The courses offered are challenging but helful in preparing and aiding kids for college. You know how the stereotypical high school has nerds getting beat up by tough jocks? It doesn't happen here because being smart is cool and desired among students. It brings a level of friendly competition and motivation with the ultimate goal of getting to not just college, but university. You can learn a lot from your experiences here at LQ.
LQ is still the best school. School spirit is high at Laquinta which tells you for generations they pass this along. Many schools lose this Spirit but not Laquinta. Glad to see they're still number 1. Their scores are great, the students are happy and the alumni still keep in touch. Go Mighty Aztecs!!!
The best school ever - API is always high up. Good job and keep it going!
why is our school so spectacular? one. we have the api of 864, and most of our students are at a disadvangtage. and on top of that we are one of the most spirited schools and we're great in baseball, tennis and badminton. and i don't have to go to school and get worried of getting shot :) its a disneyland at school.
Has a great diversity. Excellent teachers. La Quinta offers a variety of classes to prapare their students in order for them succeed in college and life. La Quinta sets the bar higher each year and year after they reach their goal. It's a great school!
As a former student, it makes me very proud to see the API scores! The teachers I had were always very supportive. The music program is amazing! Mr. Hensley has true passion for teaching his choir students; I could not have had a more amazing and talented choir teacher! Countinue to be amazing LQHS!
I think the school is fabulous. The students all interact very well with one another and everyone is very friendly. My daughter is very pleased with the education she is getting from the school. You feel very welcome, and the students are very spirited and very involved with what's going on in the school. I would recommend it. They have great A.P.I. scores.
The school has good AP classes offered for student who wants to get ahead and/or get high GPA for there ambitious dream of getting into a prestigious university. Sports are not that great, but what the heck as long as the kids get into a good college. Classes are small now due to increase in population and will be crammed with more students. School's design is dull and not so beautiful as compare to other bigger schools. Overall, it is a good school as compare to other school in its district.
This school is small, but spirited. I would not say it is a great place to meet new people, because most of the students here are too attached to their own clique to make new friends. The upside of this school is that there are rarely any fights. It is a pretty trustworthy environment, and teachers can trust their students to be unattended in a classroom. However, most of the teachers do not make sure that everyone in the classroom understands the material. There are even some teachers that let students do homework from other classes during lectures. However, there are some teachers that are like friends to the students. Students are comfortable to ask them questions. All in all, I would not recommend this school.
I feel like La Quinta High School is a wonderful school. My daughter feels as if she really belongs, and as far as I know, there are almost no acts of violence that break out. The teachers and students all intermingle in a wonderful learning invironment.
This school has been very fun to come to. The games are very fun and the students attending the game are very spirited.
