This school would be great, but has some very rude upper grade teachers. I used to enjoy partaking in the school events, but as my child gets older the staff gets meaner and some of the parents need to get over themselves...It's very political and an all female teaching staff who give preferential treatment to girls.

The teachers here are outstanding. They always keep the parents up to date about how their kids are doing. We get a folder every week with the graded homework in it. A parent must sign the folder before it is returned. Maybe the only thing that could be improved would be after school activities. However, with budget shortfalls this may be asking for too much.

My oldest son went to MG and is an IB student in his jr year at Sonora. Thanks to MG providing the foundation he needed, he has been able to advance academically. MG took an average student, suggested he work as an 'all-day bird' with the early and late groups in the class, and taught my son how to excell academically. My younger son has had the pleasure of having many of the same teachers as his older brother. All the teachers are professional, well-educated, and take a personal interest in the success of the students. The boys have really enjoyed all of their teachers at Meadow Green, and take the opportunity to go back and visit each of them at each Open House. This is proof positive of the impact these great teachers have had on my sons.

I love this school. The Principal is always looking for ways to improve the quality of education and ways to improve the campus itself. With all of the budget cuts and the threat of what is ahead of us, I am confident that we will succede!

My son just finished kindergarden last year, he did very well for the first year of school. My only concern was that the class size was too big there were around 26 to 28 students to 1 teacher. I'm hoping now that he starts first grade the class will be smaller.

Meadow Green has been a great learning step for both of my children. I have a son who graduated two years ago and currently have a daughter there in second grade. My son had some learning difficulties but with the help of his teachers and staff he excelled. They have a good tutering program and the Music program they offer is something that all the children look forward to! The staff are all very professional and care deeply about the children. They work hard to make a difference in their lives. A great learning experience for any child!

I too have two children at Meadow Green. I love the school. A few after school activities would be great. I think if the school asked for donations for this type of program - they just might get it. I also think that PTA should ask if parents would like to choose a years buy out. Instead of all the fundraisers through out the year - come up with a 1 x per year total and give them the option to 'payout'. I have more money than time to share with the school (sad but true). My only complaint is the parents. At the holiday program, the parents get out of hand calling out their childs names. That issue was very well under control at the talent show. I think the teachers are top quality. I am proud to have my kids at Meadow Green.

Both my children attend Meadow Green. This school still has the small town feel to it. The teachers my kids have had really have an interest in their students. Some after school activities would be nice, but I understand the budget situation.

My child always has had a good experience at Meodow Green but I would like for the school to have a little more activities where they can share some memories. For example,I did attend Meadow Green when I was young and the most memories I had were the great Halloween parades and the contests now all they do is go around in a circle a couple of times. When the children try to be creative with their costumes they are not rewarded, like they should be. It takes the fun out of the holiday ..Also, Grandparents day use to be more honored in the past, and my grandparents really enjoyed it. I would just like to see my child enjoy his time at Meodow Green the way I did.Hopeful if enough parents would get invoved with their childs school ,things could change in a way were they are more enjoyable.
