A new teacher just referred to Wilmington Middle school as "a hidden treasure". A great school!, every single student has textbook for every subject, teachers work together and care for their students. Math scores are the best in the area. I agree that after the recent lay offs school is not as clean as it used to be but we are all working together to change that.

Wilmington Middle School is a great school to work at. I've always had the support that I've needed and the students put in a lot of work and effort.

We are starting to become much better due to the economic climate and its push. Still, we face many challenges that would be better addressed if we weren't a part of the big machine called LA Unified.

Wilmington Middle School is wonderful because it supports the students to become self-reliant citizens who can set goals, create opportunities and empower themselves to change their lives. Wilmington Middle School also supports all of the ARTS and in turn, supplies the students with alternative ways to see the world as well as link other subjectmatter directly to the ARTS. The ARTS also provide joy to the students learning experience and the Wilmington Family of Parents, Teachers, Administrators, Classified Staff, and Students are totally supportive of promoting academic literacy through the ARTS.
