Great school, great teachers. My daughter is in the first grade and she's been there since pre-k. Have no complaints about the teachers. They are all wonderful. Tuition is reasonable and so are the number of volunteer hours. It has only increased by about $10 so far.
Excellent teaching. My daughters graduated from there and were more than prepared--one for Catholic high school and one for public high.
I have attended SJW and can easily say it's one of the best schools in our deanery. The junior high teachers are very involved with each child's progress through the year. If extra time is needed to further a child's understanding on something, they are more than willing to share their knowledge. To be brutally honest their music program is pretty much a joke for the older students. What is lacking in the music program is most certainly made up in the athletics. I am proud to say that I was apart of the first girls volleyball team ever to take first place out of three county's worth of teams. I fully believe that SJW has prepared me for whatever I may encounter in high school. Just graduating from 8th grade, my grade equivalent is that of an 11th grader's.
