The preschool teachers are awesome. This school has an atmosphere like family is caring and teaching your kids. My son goes to preschool here and I wish I knew about this school before so that I could have sent my older daughter here.

I have five children. The two older ones went to another school, but the rest have attended St Ms. I am so happy to have found this school. Two have graduated and one is approaching middle school. Both of my St. Ms graduates were well prepared for their grueling high academics and have done very well. My experience has been awesome and I am confident my last one will do just as well if not better for being brought up in this wonderful environment. Small school with a big heart!

Love the school, love the staff. Both my boys went though St martins since pre school, the youngest is going into 8th. The students graduate with above average skills in all basic fundamentals and have a high sucess rate at the high school level. I attribute this to the small class size and caring staff at St martins!

This school has been a perfect fit for both of my children. We have been at the school eight years now and cant wait to finish out the next five. The people and teachers are amazing and it is worth every mile of the commute we personally make to school each day

I took my children out of this school last year. They are in public school and are much happier. The statistics posted on their website will dissapoint you. There is nowhere near the amount of students they claim. They are NOT WASC accredited. For a school that has been around for 40 years as they claim to be this makes you wonder why no WASC accreditation? If you don't participate in their church, no one listens to you. From reading the below posts it looks like one person got on here and wrote them. This school is a big dissapointment.

As a retired CA public school teacher, and a grandmother of a St. Martin student, I was very impressed when I visited the campus. The teachers were very caring and the students were very respectful and polite. From what I have seen the academics are age appropriate and appropriately challenging.

My daughter has attended Preschool for the past few years. We love it. The teachers are mature and stable. Turnover of staff is low. The teachers provide a loving, nurturing environment for the children. The Director is a lovely woman. I agree with the other parent, this school is indeed the best kept secret in the Valley.

St. Martin's is the best kept secret in the valley. The curriculum is solid and, when the students graduate, they do well at the best high schools in the valley. The school is very academic AND loving. The Principal and the teachers are always accessible. I wish I had known about this school when my other children were young.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind school. Kindness and respect to others is emphasized on a daily basis. It's such a loving and nurturing environment. There is lots of parent involvement which makes for a real family type of atmosphere. Quality of education is above average in my opinion, because of the small class sizes and the special attention that teachers give to each individual student. I couldn't speak higher of this school. You just won't a school like this anywhere else in Los Angeles.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
