Zamora has outstanding leadership in its principal, Karen Bowen. And the teachers all work togteher to support transition and support for children and families. I have yet to meet a teacher I couldn't recommend! A bit homogeneous (Caucsian) but the school embraces diversity.
Great school. Parent envolvement is a plus. School location is a plus as well.
The best thing about Zamora, which is our neighborhood school is the amount of parent involvement. There always seems to be more than enough help with extracurricular (carnival, class parties, etc.) in my kid's classroom. The teacher's are wonderful. The Jump Rope club run by Mr. Bodine is awesome. When we moved to Woodland, we knew wanted to be near this school since it is the best!
