this preschool is not one of the best tutor times. it is in fact, the worst i've experienced. incompetent staff, far too many kids with only one teacher. accidents are prone to happen here. if your child gets injuries from this school, the staff will be way too busy with excuses rather than sincere appology.

My son has been going to Tutor Time since he was about 5 months old, he is now about 2 1/2. He loves Tutor Time and the teachers and staff work hard to ensure a safe and creative environment for him. I would highly recommend Tutor Time to any parent. The facility is clean and once you give the center a chance you too will see the caring that goes on at the school.

Where do I start? There's a reason this place is at less than 50% capacity. Check out any other center in Yorba Linda/Placentia & you will find completely full centers. (most have waiting lists). That should tell you something. If a center has a waiting list - its probably a good place. This YL Tutor Time is the worst experience I've ever had. They tolerate bullying, biting and hitting. (While you are at work - your child is defending themselves from classmates. The teachers do NOT discipline, guide or redirect kids with bad behavior. Your child will be on their own.) Your child will likely pick up bad behaviors. There is no effort to increase/improve speech or social skills. Its basically a free-for-all daycare (not a learning center) with a ratio of 12 kids to 1 teacher. All the teachers are very young and ill-equipped/trained. The owner of 8+ years of this franchise is completely frazzled 100% of the time. Just spend 5 minutes with her & your decision not to enroll at the school will be easy. My best piece of advice - DONT go there. If you do - tour the school with the owner, ask questions & trust your gut. I'm sure you will come to the same conclusion.

We have 2 children at this institution since they were 3 months old. We have a wonderful experience at Tutor Time. They are now 3 and 5 and love this place. It is their second home. Sometimes they don't want to come home in the evening. Since it is a family owned business and not a franchise, the ownership is definitely seen. Too bad our daughter will be leaving this year since there is no first grade offered. HIghly recommended place for your children!!!

My child has been in Tutor Time for over 3 years. All of his teachers have been very caring. He looks forward to going to school every day and enjoys doing his homework for his Jr. Kindergarten class.

This place only cares about getting a check from you. They employ their friends and family, instead of looking for the best qualified teachers and care givers. They're not warm and caring, but they do keep the place very CLEAN. If that's all you care about, then pay the $$ for this child care. If you care about your child being nurtured in your absence, don't go here!

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
