This school needs to re-evaluate what is more important... education or their need to look good in their community!

Jackson Middle School needs parent involvement as well as challenging academic programs to help children prepare for High School ................. classes in science & math ,robotics, foreign language. Gate acceleration program should have priority funding.

We have had 3 children attend J St and I have been very pleased w/the Full staff. The Music program is awesome. The new Principal is a wonderful leader for the kids to look up to. The school has Teacher Assistants in the 5th & 6th grade classes, that was a great +. We will miss this school as we are leaving the area.

This is one of the worst places you could ever send your child. The teaching staff is wonderful and as always underpaid. The Principal and Vice-Principal however are dreadful! They use children as pawns to get revenge against parents. I have a good child who only got detention, or was threatened with inter-district transfer revoction when they were angry with me. I can't believe the money they get compared to the teachers. One of them were disruptive at my son's IEP (kind of important) meeting that I had to ask her to please stop. She just got even louder and more disruptive until we had to end the meeting. One of my son's teacher's then said to me in front of her that she would be glad to meet w/ me again w/o her present. Like I said, the teachers are great. Principal and Vice, not.
