I am a student going to YCAS I and love it!My grades are amazing and none are lower than a B+.My parents always are telling people how glad they are that I decided to go there because it's less stressful and the teachers are more understanding and really patient with students.I started going in the 7th grade and now I'm going into 11th with the option to graduate in 2012!My parents like being able to go with me to my weekly appointments to turn in homework to my teacher and get the next week's work and that it's one-on-one,not 20+students-on-one teacher.Teacher's are willing to give you help whenever you need them whether it's over the phone or in person, they even offer tutoring 4 days a week an hour each day if you need it.In the end I highly recommend this school.

This school has been a lifesaver for my son. He has a learning disability and this allows him to take extra time on subjects that he has difficulty with. He does not get lost in the crowd like he did at the high school. He was failing math when he was at the high school and now he has no grades lower than a B. His stress level dropped considerably after I enrolled him in the alternative school. When he was at the high school he was frequently sick and could not get adequate rest because he was always playing catch up. This is the best possible system for him. He can feel in control and has been much healthier and emotionally stronger since his enrollment. Parents of learning disabled students should consider this seriously as an option. Thank you for this wonderful option.
