Yucaipa Elementary School

this is a terrible school. My son goes there and I am currently looking for a better school to put him in. His teacher gives no projects, puts no high expectations, about every other week there is reduced homework, and a regular amount of homework didn't even start until a month after school started. I can go on and on but I am very disappointed with this school.

Excellent staff-administrative and teachers! The principal, Mrs Lattuca, is the greatest. Very approachable and personable. I have had y child here for 3 years, and as an involved Mom, I love it. Can't imagine a better place to educate my child. Parent involvement needs to be greater.

My 3 kids have been in the yucaipa school district for 11 years. I feel there success now is attributed to there k-6 years at yucaipa elementary. I love the atmosphere and eclectic mix of students. I am very happy with Yucaipa Elementary and wouldn't want my kids to start their education any where else.

Not a very friendly principal. There should be more programs available for the kids and comunity. My kids classroom went threw 3 teachers last year. Disappointed with the teachers quality.

Yucaipa Elementary has an outstanding primary grade reading program. The primary grades have excellent teachers. The adminstration is a bit lax on discipline. The school has wonderful enrichment programs. Parents are not very involved.

They try. There is a Spanish club, for children wanting to learn Spanish, and a Maths club. There is choir. There are some programs for advanced learners. The PTA seems fairly energetic in trying to raise money, they just bought some new playground equipment. The school area is fairly low income, however, and the kids a bit scrappy, as is the school. Could be worse, could be a lot better.

Yucaipa elementary school is a great school. It has the best teachers. Its teachers help your students in every subject.
