YCS has a wonderful small and personal environment. The staff is great and truly cares about our kids. My son is 10 and in 5th grade. We thought we would give the brand new public school, which was only a block from our home a chance. It was fine until 4th grade when my sons class size jumped to 38 and the teacher simply didn t have time to individualize anything. My son who had good grades and reading at a 6th grade level. began to slip through the cracks. My sons words 'the whole school is out of control'. We then decided to move him to YCS. The 4th grade class of 15 students was well organized and lead by a very experienced teacher. It wasn t long and my sons situation completely turned around. He is now a a-b student and most of all he is enjoying school. WE LOVE YCS
My children have been enrolled with Yucaipa Christian since Pres-School. Much growth and change in both my children and the school! I feel change is inevitable, promotes growth, welcomes new ideas, etc. The Leadership, Administration are great, The Teachers are incredible and the overall commitment not only to our children and families affiliated with the school but also to the community as a whole should be noted. THank you and God Bless.
The School has improved over tha past few years and it really shows through the kids. It is great to send the kids to a school that cares about them and teaches them moral values as well as academics. I continue to support the school financially even as my kids have graduated. Keep up the great work!
Yucaipa Christian School is a great school, but is going through a lot of changes. There have been a few key teachers who have left and it is difficult to say how the school will faire. This school has a great student/teacher ratio. The teachers are very dedicated to the school and the children achieve well on the SATs each year. The extracurricular actrivities include bike club, art club and after school sports. The school is working on becoming a leader again in the community and offers a good alternative to those who have chosen to not use the public schools.
The quality of the teachers here has plummeted in reason years due to money. Everything is expensive and trying to get special ed services is a joke. the local public schools are much better, and they are FREE.
Yucaipa Christian is a great school! The children learn so much.
