I am a grandmother of a 4th grader at yucca mesa and have volunteered in the classroom. I have found this school to be exceptional. Definately, 'No child left behind'

I have three children ages 14, 11, and 7. All of them have attended Yucca Mesa since kindergarten. My oldest will be in high school next year and unfortunately must leave to another school. She will miss everyone at Yucca Mesa! All I have to say is, I wouldn't want them to attend any other school. The past eight years has been nothing more than fantastic with the entire faculty. They are ALWAYS on top of everything.

My daughter has been enrolled in the Special Ed. program since she was three and the teachers and aids are very helpful and take excellent care of her. Now at the age of seven, she looks forward to her time with everyone. I am grateful that she is independent and is in good company with everyone in the class.

When I asked for the results of the benchmark tests the district has all children take the educators and administration was unable, or unwilling, to provide data. I am disappointed in the quality of education being offered my child at Yucca Mesa Elementary School.

Both of my children attend Yucca Mesa Elementary. My son has autism and has been in the Special Ed program there for 7 Years. My daughter is in kindergarten. This is an excellent school with great teachers and a lot of parent involvement. I often volunteer at the school and everyone is very freindly and overall nice.

My grandson is eight-years old and autistic. The Special Education class and staff at Yucca Mesa Elementary are excellent! He is going into his third year there and doing very well. I have nothing but good things to say about the school and its staff.

I have a five year old daughter that attends Yucca Mesa, and as a parent I couldn't ask for a better school. My daughter has come a long way in a short time. I am buying my house by the school for the main reason of sending my child to Yucca Mesa, and the safety we feel in the neighborhood. I went to Yucca Mesa when it was first built as a child that had problems in everything but reading and the teachers their took time with me so that now I am a college student with straight A's.
