Leonard R. -Built in 1924-25, the historic classical style building was designed by architect John Galen Howard who also designed the UC Berkeley campus.
-In 1977 the exterior walls facing Precita Park became the canvas of local muralists who later founded Precita Eyes Mural Arts Center. The building is graced by many beautiful murals and mosaics.
