(April 2011) "My child just recently started going to the school within the past year. I have seen such drastic change in his/her grades. My child grades has improve for the better. My child attitude and behavior is more positive and is always looking forward to going to school the next day. The principal, teacher, and staff is always friendly and promotes a postive atsmosphere. I was not too sure about the area that the school is located in. However, you can never judge a book by it's cover. The school is a good school for any teenager to attend. "
(May 2010) "I would really like to give the school the benefit of the doubt since I have relatives who have attended the school and loved it but my experience was not as good, I was surprised to find out that the preschool was not academic at all and instead was only developmental. unfortunately my daughter did not learn much at all the entire year there. There were also some really bad little kids and there did not seem to be any clear rules for how to handle or disciple kids at this age who curse. Many other schools in the IE have clear guidelines so be sure to visit others as well especially if you are considering pre school. Word of Life or maybe Upland Christian may be better options. However, tour all and ask about discipline policies if any and see what is best for you and yours."
No rating given (November 2009) "I am an alumni from Bloomington Christian school. I couldn't express enough in words how much this school has blessed me, and prepared me to be not only a responsiable adult, but this school prepared me for college. Mrs. Michaelson the vice principal is a caring loving woman of God, and Mr. Avalos the principal a strong leader. BCS hires the right staff, and still today even being an alumni I call BCS home. Lord willing when I have my children, they will attend here, and I tell everyone I know and meet the education at BCS is worth investing every penny. "
No rating given (July 2009) "In my judgment, this school will not educate your students in such a way that will prepare them for college. If the student is already such that he will succeed in college, then this school will not drag him down, but if the student is one who needs additional preparation to make him ready for college, this school will not help him reach that point. Only a handful of classes (or rather the teachers that teach them) will require actual effort from the student, most will serve only as some place one must sit for one hour a day five days a week. This school struck me (and my parents) as impressive years ago when I was in elementary school, but mediocre when one reached High School. "
(November 2008) "An excellent school--academics and leadership and teachers could not be better."
