"I am now a sophmore at FHS and its a great school and i enjoy going there. Its a huge school but very easy to get around and everyone is friendly there. All of the teachers are really nice and the sports are organized very well. "

"For me it's one of the best here in Ocala. It is very difficult to find a good high school nowadays where you can trust that your child will be in good hands. The staff here are friendly and cooperative. I live a bit far from the school and plan in moving even farther, but my daughter says that she wants to graduate in this school and I'm going to sacrifice some gas to get her there. God bless this school!"

"The School has a very diverse background and offers numerous programs for every kid. The ROTC program is the best we have seen and we would recommend it to anyone who is interested in their son or daughters future. Great character education and the teachers are truly devoted to their students. A+ in my opinion."

"I did not have a good experience at Forest. If you want the students to learn, you should make them feel that they can be successful as anyone. It is very important to feel that you are a part of the group. I'm glad I transferred to Sandalwood. It was much better! My grades went up after that."

"This school is definitely for the college bound student, but all students are not created equal and neither are parents bank accounts. Create more interest in why our children lose their way and focus on things that interest them. Classes need to get into diverse cultures as well as their diverse minds. Creative minds need creative class work; Mechanical minds need mechanical methods to approach class work. "

"My son has excelled in the engineering-based magnet program at Forest. His teachers invest in each student with their personal teaching style. The excellent cirriculum planning gives real life-application to each subject, making learning more enjoyable. The new facility (2005) is a great improvement to the scholastic atmosphere, although my son does complain about the sound of the new bell. Overall, I am glad we have the option of this career-focused magnet program over a general public education."

"I think it's a shame for the boys' wrestling coach to be so against the girls having a wrestling team. Did you know that last year on the girls wrestling girls won 1st, 2d and 3d state? I would really like to see more support and have a good girls wrestling team. The school didn't even sponsor the girls wrestling team to the Nationals, and one of the girls was 6th in the Nation. Now isn't that a shame that the school system does not support these talented young girls. "
