"Academic programs are strong. 21st Century Community Learning Center provides homework help and enrichment activities after the school day. Baseball, softball, soccer and basketball is offered. Great for my kids- since my husband and I work. Parents are encouraged to be involved."

"Jackson City School is an important and successful asset to our community. It is one of two school districts within the county. Unfortunately, Jackson may have to close soon because parental choice is being denied by the county school system. This threatens our student population and will result in a loss of students to Jackson. Jackson may close as early as SY 2004-2005. "
