Wow- this school is amazing! The teachers and staff are wonderful and set high standards for the students while being very nurturing and supportive. I cannot say enough good things about the principal, staff and teachers. It is well worth the money and then some:)
I am a proud St. Pius parent. Having graduated from one of the top independent private/college prep schools in the United States, I can tell you my child is receiving as superior of a primary education as I received. What makes St. Pius stand out, however, are the morals and character that St. Pius is also bestowing in St. Pius students and the principal, who has lead the efforts since 2008. He is a fair and dynamic administrator and has brought St. Pius into its own future with technology and vision. The only way we would ever leave St. Pius is if we were facing a career move out of state.
We have attended St. Pius for 7 years going into the 8th, I love it here and was considering changing due to a learning issue with my child. They have helped us with this issue so that we can continue on with the high quality of education and the strict foundation we require. I would highly recommend St.Pius to parents that want to extend home morals and values.
I am currently going to St. Pius. I have been here for 7 years now and I am happy with the education. They have many extracurricular activities.
Both of my children attend this school. The teachers are outstanding with a solid focus on education and discipline. The school also advocates the importance of service, with the children being involved in activities that support the needs of the local community as well as the global. My son's class recently held a book drive for a school in Rwanda. The principal has made many changes to improve the technology as well as the environment. I agree with another reviewer that there were administration issues but that no longer exists due to changes in administrative staff. I highly recommend this school.
I've attended St. Pius for about 8 years and recently graduated. Each year the school gets better, and better. It is equipped with a great staff. They're always there to help the students with whatever we need. It's also a great disciplinary school. They do not tolerate disrespect. What I like most about St. Pius is the students. Each class has an amazing personality. Improvements to the school are always being made. The school has the latest technology (smart boards, flat screen computers, and laptops for the teachers). It's an excellent school, and will prepare your children academiclly, socially, and physically.
An excellent school with technology use throughout the curriculum, specifically Smart board technology. The teachers are dedicated and many of them have been with the school for over 10 years. The chillren are loved and loved, with high expectations throughout.
Both of my children are products of this great school. Within this school, the students receive a very rigorous academic curriculum, taught in a loving and caring environment. With a new principal on board this school year, and his vision of enhancing the technology throughout the school, I can only see greater things happening. St. Pius X School is well on its way to being the premier school in the Aurora area.
I am disappointed at this school after attending for a few years and am looking for a better fit for my children elsewhere. This school has had 2 principals in 3 years and is currently seeking a new principal. Administration issues with respect towards parents is a big problem. School disontinued its music program 4 years ago and hasn't brought it back. Make sure you do your research before deciding on this school. Low tuition isn't always a good thing. You get what you pay for. The problems with this school administratively are overshadowing the great teachers and academic environment and it's starting to show.
one of my favorite schools I went to. At first the enviorment felt weird but feel more days you will get the feel of the school. This school is very welcoming and I like that. Recently we just got a new principle and everything is working out very well. I would recommend this school to anyone!! I like the people their to!!
