Avondale Elementary School

Very impressed with this school. They have made my child feel welcome and have provided a comprehensive education with good after school programs. They make the students feel safe, provide free meals and summer activities, and Ms. Avalos is doing a great job as principal. Very personable environment.

The staff in Avondale Elementary tend to go out of their way for the kids. For what little the teachers get in salary they end up buying alot of the supplies that they use in the classroom, like for bulletin boards, even some of the things that they use to teach a particular lesson. The kids don't use inappropriate language. Its actually a great school to be a part of.

The teachers work very hard to do everything they can to help the students succeed. They make sure every child feels safe and that no one is left out in class or in the learning process.

This school is a great school. My two daughters have gone there. The teachers are great and the classes are small. The mixture of cultures helps the children deal with real world.

Not as good as it once was. Too bad, it would be a great neighborhood to raise kids. It's where I grew up and went to school. I'd love to live in Avondale again, it is still a great neighborhood, but I wouldn't send my kid to Avondale Elementary School.
