I'm not actually a parent, i am an allumni. However, when i have children i hope to take them back to basalt, and to go to school there. i have been enrolled or toured high schools all over the country, and this is the one of the best public schools i've seen. The best thing about the school is that it's small enough for students to receive 'special attention' when needed. Part of it though is that the town it's self is small enoughthat many of the teachers and parents know each other.
