Some devoted staff. Beautiful setting. The lack of social opportunities for families living in the remote area has resulted in the school functioning as a community center rather than student centered. The PTO functions as a private club, not a healthy one. They run the school like it was a town. Families are often shunned. Academics are fudged at times to better support students low scores to protect feelings. Not so sure that is a good thing. Would like to see a much harder focus on academics given the small number of students. There is a lack of participation in the Fort Collins school events such as Lego Robotics, Odyessy of the Mind, clubs.. Instead events revolve around any opportunity for the area parents to have something to do during the day/be at the school.
