We have been with the school since 1.2011.This is a fantastic school! My children are getting a very well rounded education. Not only do the small class sizes and excellent teachers promote advanced learning, but the school offers classes others do not. This includes chinese, spanish, swimming, art, music and PE. All of the staff is very commited to the children and learning. We have tried another private school in Broomfield, but this school far exceeds what the other school offered for academics. If you believe in early childhood education and investing in your child's future, this is the school for you!

What can we say about Broomfield Academy it was the best decision we could have made for our little girl. It s been almost 2 years since she started and we are still just as impressed as the first day. The staff and teachers have continuously exceeded all of our expectations. Watching how the staff and teachers interact with the kids makes it perfectly clear that they are genuinely concerned about all of the children and the education they receive. Our little girl is currently in Pre-Kindergarten and she is already starting to read on her own and perform simple math. Her vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds and we are constantly blown-away by her advanced vocabulary and her ability to properly use these words when speaking. We are also quite impressed with her Spanish and Chinese skills. Broomfield Academy also offers many activities for the children including dance, music, swimming and more. A child s education is very important, and we personally feel that Broomfield Academy has been the best decision we could have made for our little girl. We look forward to watching her grow and flourish at Broomfield Academy.

We started our two children at Broomfield Academy this year (2012-2013) and we could not be more happy! Our children are learning so much faster and the are actually looking forward to school every day. The field trips are very interesting. The last school had ECO Cycle field trips and the kids were so bored. They come home with a positive attitude and talk about the "cool" tings they learned in school. The swim program has just been outstanding, which included snorkeling classes. We compared Broomfield Academy to other private schools and found there fees to be lower and they offer deals if you have more than one child. Our kids are in 6th and 7th grade and we will keep our children here as long as possible. You will also love the principal, she is very interactive, always smiling and positive!!

Broomfield Academy is a hidden gem on 120th Ave. I would have never known about the school if it wasn t for the recommendation of friends. The exterior might not be fancy, but the school is top notch. Our daughter has been attending Broomfield Academy since first grade. We love the school with its small class sizes and challenging academics. They customize and place her in learning groups that fits her need. As parents, we just want a school that can maximize our kid s potential, and BA certainly succeeds in doing so. Outside of academics, our daughter has been part of the school s performance group for a couple years and she loves it! If you want a school with caring teachers, personalized attention, fun yet challenging environment, this is the school. We find the money well worth it to invest in our kid s education. I plan on enrolling my son here next year.

Responding to the previous post: Actually, we feel we get a great value at Broomfield Academy. Sure, private school is costly, but its worth every penny of it. Our kids moved to Broomfield Academy 2 years ago from a well-known charter school and have really blossomed. The smaller class sizes and individual attention have especially helped my son. We love that they have a pool and get swimming lessons as part of the regular tuition. Our kids an involved in the soccer program, dance, swim team and capoeira. My kids have learned a lot of Chinese (and order in Chinese at the local Chinese restaurants - fun!) and Spanish too. We have been very pleased, and are especially glad that they have added middle school. We will stay through 8th grade.

We love this school but I wish it wasn't so expensive. I definitely think they need some organized sports and/or a gym for the older classes. The principal needs some work on actually seeing issues instead of just acting like everything is fine all the time.

We have been at Broomfield Academy since 2006. Our daughter will be in 5th grade this year in the new Middle School. We love Broomfield Academy. With their smaller class sizes and individual learning plans our daughter has a superior educational base. The teachers are great to work with and are focused on each student to help them achieve their best.

We moved from public school to Broomfield Academy in mid-school year and finished out the 2009-2010 school year here. We have been very pleased with the progress our son has made academically and socially. The school offers individualized learning plans that help each child to work at his or her own level--but not just that, the individualized attention also helps them to be able to excel and really receive instruction that is specific to their own needs. The teachers and staff are very open and focused on helping the children achieve all that they can in a positive learning environment. We appreciate the small class size (max of 15) as well. In addition, we feel that the school makes good use of their resources. In addition to focusing on strong academics, the children are exposed to a strong music program, drama, computers, as well as Spanish and Chinese.

We moved to Broomfield Academy from a local well-known charter school and have really been pleased. Our son loves sports and likes the fact that they have a big (huge, actually) sports field. They use 'The Den' for indoor sports on the few days weather doesn't allow, and they have ropes to climb, basketball, hockey, cup stacking and other fun stuff inside. Outside, they just added new 4-square, hopscotch, basketball and field sports. I was surprised to see a parent review suggesting a 'gym.' With such small class sizes, they certainly don't need it for sports. The school uses the nearby Broomfield Auditorium for big presentations and awards ceremonies. Its a few blocks away, but beats sitting on rows of hard chairs typical in the public schools for such events. I think they have it right regarding sports. Academically, its a 'wow.' The other reviews cover that.

Broomfield Academy quickly became the only clear choice in the area for us. Our son has been going there for a year now, and his enthusiasm for school is boundless! The teachers are approachable and open when you talk to them, and we feel our son has progressed very well this year. Broomfield Academy is head and shoulders above anything else available in this area and we recommend you look no further!

Broomfield Academy is a fantastic school academically; the teachers, staffs and the principal are so dedicated, bright and fun to be around. The academic program provides a good start for language arts, science, math, and social studies. Other specialty classes (Mandarin, Spanish, Art, music) are just fabulous. There are so many opportunities to get involved and the school does an amazing job at staying in touch and keeping parents informed. It s very safe and fun school.

My daughter is in her 2nd year at Broomfield Academy. We love it and she loves it. The small class allows the teachers to customize learning plans and get to know the children very well. The staff is wonderful. It is a very safe environment. The specialty classes are wonderful: computer, physcial education, music, art, Chinese and Spanish. The summer program is also wonderful! It is both educational and fun. Lots of fun activities and field trips planned all year round.

Academically this is an excellent school with great teacher to child ratio. The teachers are superior. Not cheap though. They need a library and a gym.

The results demonstrate how outstanding this school is. Our daughter was not accepted at a prestigious private school (where our son attends) and we were disappointed. Then we were introduced to Dr. Ewing and Broomfield Academy. Our daughter could not read or write, recognize letters, etc. In 4 months of Kindergarten, she is reading, writing, doing math, playing piano, and developing socially. The teacher-student ratio is low, and when you have great teachers and individualized learning programs, the results are compelling. We've been invited to bring her back to the prestigious school and have declined to do so. You MUST check out Broomfield Academy if you are serious about the importance of your child's educational foundation.

Our son has been at Broomfield Academy (previously Meritor) for 5 years. We enjoy the small class size, individualized learning plans that keep him challenged and the open and cooperative relationships with staff. Students at BA develop a love of learning and respect for their peers and community. We highly recommend the school.

Broomfield Academy is the best private school in our area. This is our daughter's 3rd year, and we plan on sending our son to the new 'explorers' program for 3 year olds as well. The individualized plan that they use for each child is unbelievable. There is no worry about what level the other kids are at in the classroom. They work with your child at the level they need. They challenge our daughter by teaching at higher grade levels than her 1st grade class. She is paired with a 4th grader and reads at 4th and 5th grade reading level. The school has such a warm, family feel and it's great that every teacher knows her personally.

My children are challenged and very happy at Meritor. The teachers really care about all the students.

Quality of education is very high. Most children trend at least 1 grade level above their own due to the individualized program. Class sizes are very small, typically 10-12 students. Parent involvement is high. Specialty classes include art, music, Spanish, computers and there are often 'enrichment' classes offered after school through the year (i.e., crafts, cooking, etc)

I have been nothing but pleased with Meritor. The staff are wonderful and caring. English and math are taught at each childs own speed and Spanish is taught from Pre-K on. They have their own swimming pool and lessons or free swimming are available. Parents are very involved in the school. They have an easy dress code, which makes it very simple to get my son ready in the morning. Art, music, physical education, science, and computer skills are also standard here.
