Both of my children have been attending this school for the past 5 years. My oldest is now attending a private high school and is doing very well. His/Her current teachers report that s/he is very well prepared. My youngest reports that s/he loves the engaging hands on activities and rigorous curriculum. S/he too is looking forward to attending the private high school. I am thrilled at all my children have received while at CCS: self-esteem, performing abilities, academic rigor, the courage to be themselves. Thank you CCS.

Update: In the state administered academic achievement test for 2005 for the 6-8 graders, CCS was given a rating of 'Excellent'. The percentage of students that were 'Proficient' or 'Advanced' was 50% higher than the district or the state. Of the scores, 18.3% in reading, 27.0% in writing and 46.3% in math were rated as 'Advanced'. More impressive, on average, only 2% of the scores were listed as 'Unsatisfactory'. All this while still having time for 'All School Ski Days', an All School Theater Production, community involvement, week long outdoor Ed trips and this spring a 2 week trip to Costa Rica.

Excellent school with a small studen to teacher ratio. Hands on learning, extremely caring staff, outdoor education experiences, and excellent CSAP scores in all areas.
