Please don't send your kids to this school. The Principal is horrific and the system fails. Bullyies are not dealt with and your child will suffer.
I have given this school many chances with bullying and violating the HIPPA policy so I can't give it 5 stars even though my child's teacher deserves 5 stars or more if applicable. The principal does not get involved when a child gets injured by another bully (proven bully), just stays in her office. When she walks the halls she is not friendly at all. If you don't speak first she'll walk right by you and look you right in the eyes. The office girls are great but their hands are tied. There are several special needs children in this school and she never attends meetings concerning them. Leaves it up to the school's team of professionals. Her handing out of awards is so flat you get the feeling she really doesn't care and doesn't want to be there. Heard she was looking elsewhere for a job and I hope she finds it fast. When kids come in/out of the school they act like animals. There is no one there to make them walk and conduct themselves appropriately. The 'being wolfed' thing is nice but the kids take advantage of it and it has no good meaning anymore. They get wolfed for finding a pencil in the dirt! K-2 teachers are fantastic. Upper grades they let their students run wild.
The school so far is great and continually upgrading its expectations of their students. The principal falls extremely short. The school has a zero tolerance for bullying yet it it occurs on a regular basis and she does nothing about it. My child was injured and I was not even notified that something had occurred and the bully's parents were not notified. We are made to sign an agreement at the beginning of the school year agreeing to no bullying; yet the school principal or superintendent does not support it!!!
We love this school and have had wonderful teachers. The only thing I would like to see change is the principal, she is not at all friendly, makes me wonder why she would want to work at an Elementary school.
We could'nt be happier! Our son has received a solid education here. The faculty has provided us with continuos feedback and have made themselves readily availavle whenever we have had questions for them.
i went to timberline last year and i thought it was an amazingly good school.. The teachers there are very kind to me an help me learn stuff that i never learned before...That school should b a 10 in my opinion:]]
We love this school. I have two girls and they both love going to school. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They really make learning fun.
This is a wonderful school. They are well advanced in Math as well as other academics. The teachers and staff are friendly and they welcome parent involvement. My son loves the art program there. He never talks about school but he tells me all about art. There are plenty of other extracurricular activities.
