I used to go to this school and let me tell you it was awesome! I learned sooo much, you never know how great your school is until you go to another school. My family decided to move when I finished 9th grade. I wasn't sad at the time for leaving, but now I miss my school and town very much! The teachers, extracurricular activities, the food (weird huh? I can't say that about my other high school) and the students are great. I miss Center so much!

Center is leading the way into the future of education. Center schools are very tech savy, every student in the middle school and high school is issued a laptop computer.

Center school has a dedicated teaching staff and a low teacher/student ratio. Sports reign supreme, though the arts and knowledge bowl are increasing in popularity and strength. The new band program is very strong. The school administration is building a new auditorium that will be dedicated to the arts. Community support is strong. CSAP scores are low but improving. The afterschool programs are utilized more by the eleentary students than the secondary students, probably because involvement in sports means students have practice at the same time as the after school program offerings.

This school is grade oriented and a good school for students. The ISS program is one of the best I've seen.

As a former student in Center, I think this school is awesome. Inow live in Denver and go to another school. I hear from my cousins that their football team is undefeated. Now that is awesome. Sometimes I wish I could go back. Sincerely, Shaunte Vargas of the Vargas Family
