My son started attending Antelope Trails at the age of 3 in the preschool program. He was behind in speech so was given extra attention and care to get him up to speed. He was on an IEP (Individual education plan) for a few years which was monumental in his progress. The teachers and aides are fantastic and were always in communication with me on his progress! Now he is in 4th grade and is testing at grade level in all areas thanks to their early efforts and extra care. They have a "No child left behind" philosophy and it is evident in the principal, teachers, aides and students. I couldn't be happier and I tell everyone I know to go with District 20 and Antelope Trails especially! Now my daughter is attending 1st grade there and like before- they are just amazing with her. Her teacher is great about communicating and my daughter just loves school!
This school is second to none. I've had kids in another school in this district and this is not even comparable to the other. The teachers are genuine and sincere and actually love their jobs. The administration is visible and approachable. This is a top performing school but there isn't a feeling of stress or teaching to the test. It's very comfortable and friendly and I feel so lucky to have choiced my child into Antelope Trails! Thanks you ATE!
Best School in the neighborhood. My first grader has progressed leaps and bounds since she is in this school. Excellent English and Math programs. Heard about the TAG and IB curriculum being Outstanding. I wish i could give it a 6 Star :)
This is an outstanding school in a community with very high standards. I have never had a bad experience as the entire staff seems to care deeply about every student. There is not a better school in America, top to bottom, than this.
Unfortunately there are teachers here, tenured, that are just not up to any kind of academic standard.
After 6 years with children at Antelope Trails, I have never had a bad experience. Excellent communication with teachers and staff, they are very very responsive. Good sense of community. I am very thankful to have my children there, I do not worry about this first step of their education at all!
I have three children in attendance. We love the teachers, the staff and the warm sense of community that our school offers. My children are thriving here. Thanks, ATE.
Lack of communication from the teachers and the office staff. Teachers texting in class and not teaching.
The most amazing school for our kids. We have been nothing but thrilled from the preschool program up. The administration, teachers and support staff are top notch and very aware of students and their needs. We have 4 children who have attened and one on an IEP. We have heard complaints from parents whose kids attend other district 20 schools, that is not the case for ATE!! Best education for your kids, no matter what their needs are.
We absolutely love this school. The teachers and administration are all very friendly and very open to parental involvement. It has been a great experience!
We moved here from CA and have found this school to be friendly, helpful and accomodating. The Principal is wonderful, caring and truly there for the kids. The staff has done nothing but be positive. If you are looking for a great school of learning and wonderful atmosphere for your child, this is it! Everyone should have the opportunity to send their child to a school like this. Our son has never been happier.
This an an A+ school in an outstanding school district. Teachers work hard to meet the needs of the 'whole child.' Very academic, but not test driven. Safe and nurturing environment. Your kids will not find a better school than this.
Antelope Trails is an incredible neighborhood school. The staff, parents and students are among the best in the nation. The staff is committed to providing the best education to students by researching, learning and delivering instructional strategies to students that best work for the individual child. The students are well rounded kids that are eager to learn and have a lot of entusiasm. The parents are just plain terrific. The volunteer hours put in by the parents are amazing. There is a true home/school/community connections. Antelope Trails is a superior elementary school!
Very good neighborhood school. Class sizes are a bit large 25/26+ students. Very good TAG program and IB track.
This is a very nice school, very concerned with children safety and with good academics. I would recommend.
My daughter has attended this school since K and now she'll be in 3rd grade this year. All of her teachers have been wonderful, attentive, and caring. The education is unsurpassed. The principal and assistant principal are just really great, open people to talk to. Parent involvement here is just incredible--the support is wonderful. There is also on-campus before and after school childcare and this program is great too. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and there is a bus system if you need it. I would highly recommend this school for your child.
