ILS is a one in a million school. It's a place where kids can experience the old fashion education most of us long for. Simple things like actually being able to have a Christmas party, or teachers who can hug your child when something isn't going well. In the end, You only get one chance to educate your child, and it is over very quickly. And in todays economy, paying for a child's education can be a challenge. But when all is said and done, you will know you have given your child something wonderful, maybe even magical, a real education free from a politically correct agenda, and they will emerge ready to take on the world as God loving productive citizens.

My daughter spent 7 years at ILS and is now a Junior in high school. I couldn't be happier with the education she received at ILS. The faculty is second to none and each student is given the opportunity grow and learn in all aspects of life. My daughter was well prepared for high school and is doing exceptionally well. Immanuel Lutheran School does a fantastic job.

This is our 5th year at ILS. The teachers are enthusiastic, nurturing and challenge the kids encouraging creativity and enhanced knowledge. The kids treat each other with respect and sincerely support each other. The education is rich as well as academic, with a wonderful spiritual foundation.

We are military and love Immanuel Lutheran for its wonderful teacher/student ratio, academics, after school activities and sports, as well as the caring faculty. Will definitely keep all of our children there as long as we are in Colorado Springs!

My child has attended school at Immanuel Lutheran School for almost 5 years. Immanuel has a very committed staff that cares about the education of each child. The school is committed to ensure academic excellence by educating each child spiritually, mentally, socially and physically while helping each student to recognize their own potential in life. Overall I give a thumbs up to the church, staff and students at ILS.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
