I took my child out of his last school and into STAR because it sounded great. I regretted this decision for the rest of the school year. My child went from standardized test scores in the 90% for most subjects to 5 and 10% for all the subjects. The children were not supervised well and he ended up getting a very poor attitude about school because he was either bored or getting his things stolen. I brought up my concerns with the teacher and with the staff, and though we did come up with ideas to fix the issues there was no followthrough. I feel as if he wasted a full school year and is now having to relearn information (his teacher at STAR taught him to count on his fingers) and trying to catchup for what he was not taught in 2nd grade. I would not recommend this school
This school doesnt provide the computer and classes and services it says it will provide.
