I have 2 children, 1 has gone thru K-5 at Edison and 1 is still there in 5th grade. They both have gotten wonderful educations at this school. The teachers are great and it is easy as a parent to be involved, which I think plays a large part in your childs education.

I found this school to have a variety of good and not so good aspects, however the dedication of a few very careing teachers and a principle that 'runs a tight ship' make up for what this school lacks in funds and community participation. The music program brought out the talent in the children and far exceeds other schools at a similar level.I beleive this school as well as most Colorado Springs schools would do 100% better given the adequate funding, repairs and community involvement. Where does the taxes go in this state? With the amount of revenue that flows through this state the schools should be rated in the top 10 in the country. Overall comparing Colorado schools in general to other states I have lived, it is difficult to give good reviews.
