I attended the 6th grade at Lincoln Elem. School. I had just moved from MA to CO. I had teachers named Mr. Bearup, and Mr. Cortez, and CO in its self was a new ball of wax for me. I have grown quite a bit since 1985/86 and traveled all over the united states. I am now a mother of a 5th grader and moved back to Colorado so that my son can himself learn the Integrity and Core Values that were instilled in me while attending this school. Even the Play ground Attendant 'Mom' Harnic' loved a awkward child through one of the most difficult times a child could have and she did it with grace and integrity. It is good to know that after all these years NOTHING has changed! thank you for reading! Kerriann 'Botelho' Adler
Well, I have lived in this area for about 3 years the appearance of Lincoln Elem., as well as the location scared me. My judgment was based on the appearance. I regret not taking the time to look inside, for not meeting the staff sooner. My daughter recently enrolled in Feb of 2008, and what Lincoln Elementary represents in truth is what other schools should pay attention to. Lincoln Elem. and the dedicated staff are in my opinion the pioneers for setting the standard of excellence. I have seen and experienced in a very short time the core values of what is professionalism, compassion, and team a player foundation, that is awesome. This school in my opinion now is dedicated to raising the bar and others should pay attention. Therefore as a result of my experience Lincoln Elem. is past due a makeover. How sad, and unfortunate.
